I am the lucky wife of a fabulous man, and a stay at home mom to two very busy little girls. My mother taught me to sew, knit, and cross-stitch when I was relatively small, straight away I began creating odd bits of clothing, jewelry, toys and scores of pillows to outfit my room. One of my greatest satisfactions is finding new life for old things. It seems a terrible waste not to try to give some of it a second chance to be special to someone.

I was born in Ukraine and moved to Canada with my little daughter in May 2008. Our great family tradition is knitting and crochet. When I was a kid I had almost all my clothing made on knitting machine by my lovely grandma. As a professional I have created hundreds of knitted items over many years of designing many don’t follow patterns. My items have been showcased, in several magazines.

It started as a hobby in 1988 and blossomed into a full time business by 1994 when we decided to stop farming and just concentrate on the soap business.  We use many organically grown herbs and plants from our own garden (beside hemp) to include in our items.  All of our products are made with care by hand in small batches without much energy consumption or machinery.

Pleased to meet you!  I sit down in my basement with my space heater and sewing machine and I make handwarmers, wallets, ipod cases and, from time to time I experiment!  I like to make warm things and cute accessories.  I’m 22 and I have free time to sew in my basement. I enjoy it quite a bit.  Often recycled fabrics are used to make my items, from tablecloths to bed linen which makes the items one of a kind – OOAK!

After searching both the internet and the local stores I found a huge need for handmade toys and home goods. Inspired by my passion for Interior Design, I started to create toys and treats for the young and old that are not only more sustainable options, but are safe and look great in the modern day bedroom. I’m fortunate to have a great husband that understands my quirky hobby.

I am a licensed Esthetician, trained at the world renowned Blanche Macdonald Centre.  I’m dedicated to providing the very best results possible. During the course of my career I began developing a line of products for my spa clients as I found myself continuously frustrated with ineffective, overly hyped or overly priced products. This endeavour has led to the formation of my range of products.

In 2001, my wife and I were spending the evening at a hotel and attending a wedding reception at the hotel. We showered and dressed and went down to the banquet room and spent the next several hours scratching. Upon returning home we realized that we felt this way after every shower with commercial soap. After months of research we started to make our own soap and have not been itchy since.
